Latest Updates
December 14th, 2011:
Full-time job. Get money, get Pokemon... and never update your website because you're too tired. All. The. Time.
Anyway, I uploaded a few more things to the Zekrom and the Chandelure Line pages, mostly just clearfiles. I've gotten a lot highly-wanted stuff lately, so I will post pictures whenever I manage to take pictures that do them justice!
With that, I leave you with this picture:

Welcome to Pyre Embers, my Pokemon Collection website.
Why is this website called "Pyre Embers"? It hints at my top two favorite Pokemon: Haunter and Cyndaquil.
Haunter has been my favorite ever since the day a friend of mine gave me a card of him from the original Base Set trading card game set. I was not very familiar with Pokemon at the time (this was back when it first hit the shores of the US), and the moment I first set my eyes upon that picture of a purple ghost with disembodied hands and a mischievous smile full of fangs, I instantly fell in love. Over the years, Haunter has been very influential on my Pokemon preferences, making many of my newer favorites Ghost-types. And yes, to this day, I still have that card. :)
A few years after I got that Haunter card, news of Pokemon Gold and Silver was starting to come up. By that point, I was already hooked on the trading card game and anime, but I did not own any handheld systems and thus, had never played a Pokemon game before. That did not stop me from eagerly scouring the internet and gaming magazines for images from the new games. It was during one of these searches when I came across Cyndaquil for the first time and decided that he was my favorite out of the three new starter Pokemon. Something about his squinty eyes and rounded features just struck me as cute. Eventually, I got lucky and my grandfather got me a Game Boy Color and Pokemon Silver Version. Naturally, I picked Cyndaquil as my starter, and I picked him again 10 years later in Pokemon SoulSilver Version to relive the memories of my first Pokemon game ever.
Here, on this website, you will find my Haunter and Cyndaquil collections (my two biggest ones), as well as several smaller collections of other Pokemon I like. I do not necessarily strive to collect every single piece of merchandise of every Pokemon I like; I simply go for the ones that appeal to me the most. I hope you enjoy!
